TJ Karam is an El Paso entrepreneur and actor whose work spans real estate, construction, a Colorado outfitting business, and Kingland Timepieces. He’s also 13 years sober.
TJ shares how losing his dad in 2009 sent him deeper into addiction, and how a 12-step rehab in 2013 helped him find a faith that was his own after years of feeling like it had been forced on him.
He talks about building an acting career in Chicago, coming home for spring break in 2020 and never leaving, and what it looks like to work faithfully in a field that isn’t his passion.
If you’ve ever struggled to hand God control of your plans, you’ll appreciate his honesty about learning to cast his cares and start every morning on his knees.
